McCabe's 2009
McCabe’s Greenhouse and Floral was established in 1974 by Michael McCabe. He graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Horticulture.
On his family farm in Moores Hill, IN, Mike started his greenhouses, specializing in bedding plants. In 1978 the retail operation was moved to Lawrenceburg, IN where the business expanded into a full garden center and floral department.

The second generation of McCabe’s was started with the birth of his son Scott in ’81 and his daughter in ’83. Scott followed in his fathers footsteps and graduated from Purdue in 2004 with a degree in horticulture. Beth also went to Purdue and transferred to the Art Institute of Cincinnati and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Computer Graphics.
Mike and Theresa were blessed with an excellent staff and customer loyalty that has helped them grow through the years. All of this would not be possible if it weren’t for the endless hours and free assistance of Mike’s parents, Frank and Mary McCabe. Thank you.
